Forget that the FIFA World Cup took place over the summer, because the biggest soccer story in 2018 is a dog interrupting a match and demanding belly rubs.
As USA Today reports, a match between FC Dila and Torpedo Kutaisi in Georgia’s Erovnuli Liga league received an unexpected guest when a stray dog invaded the pitch during the second half.
Kudos to the players for having some fun with the pupper.
