With the news today that Gov. Whitmer is extending her stay-at-home order through May 15, most of us are continuing to find ourselves spending a lot more time with our pets. And if your online shopping has increased during the past month, you probably have quite a few empty boxes lying around your place. Thankfully they can easily be turned into enrichment boxes for your dog to enjoy.

In the video below, Beth Chamberlain from Michigan Humane’s behavior health services team shows you how to make an enrichment box using dog toys, treats, peanut butter, newspaper and other basic items you most likely have at home. Enrichment boxes are a perfect distraction for your dog if you’re worried about your Zoom meetings getting interrupted.
