Fundraisers:

Organize a Walk-a-thon
Organize a walk-a-thon at your school (with advance permission), or organize a group to participate in our one of our annual marches.  To hold a walk-a-thon, simply invite others to participate in collecting donations from friends and family, and walk on the event day!

Hold a Pop Can or Coin Drive
Hold a pop can or coin drive with a clever name such as Cans for Cats, Pop Cans for Pets, Pennies for Pets, Dimes for Dogs or Cash for Cats.  Place canisters in your classroom to collect money for the animals.  You can also hold car washes, bake sales or other events to raise money for the animals.

Battle of the Bands/Dances
Coordinate a Battle of the Bands, school dance (with permission) or other function and sell tickets with the proceeds to benefit the Michigan Humane Society. Come up with your own idea! Maybe you have another creative idea!  If you have questions, please contact the Humane Education department at 1-866-MHUMANE, ext. 123.

Please deliver craft or monetary donations to any of the MHS Animal Care Centers locations.  Monetary donations can also be sent to the MHS administrative office:
