Home furnishings retail giant IKEA loves to tie emotions to their furniture. Their latest example is a TV ad about two rescue dogs and their love story.

The commercial was produced for IKEA Greece and starts with the two puppers playing together at a dog sanctuary. A family visits the sanctuary and adopts one of the dogs so now the friends are separated. The adopted dog’s new family showers him with love but he’s still missing his friend.

You feel even more sorry for the dog who wasn’t adopted when the differences their living situations are juxtaposed. Luckily the family realizes the missing void in their dog’s heart and adopts his friend too.

Excuse me while I go cry on my DELAKTIG couch stuffing my face with Swedish meatballs from the IKEA cafe.

This isn’t the first time IKEA has supported dogs. An IKEA location in Italy allowed rescue dogs chill in the store that customers could adopt.
