The Detroit Pistons and Michigan Humane are hosting Pups in the Plaza on Friday, August 9 at Little Caesars Arena (LCA)! Yes, you can bring your dog to the Chevy Plaza at LCA (read restrictions below) and hang out with fellow Pistons fans who also love puppers.

Even better if you dress them up in a Grant Hill Pistons teal jersey, but that’s not required.

Grant Hill slam dunk as a Piston.

We’ll be watching the classic ’90s movie Space Jam! Yes, Michael Jordan was an enemy of the Bad Boys Pistons but it’s still a good movie (and soundtrack!). More importantly, we’ll have adoptable dogs onsite for you to meet! All adoption fees at Pups in the Plaza are waived thanks to Strategic Staffing Solutions.

Here’s everything you can expect at Pups on the Plaza:

  • Space Jam screening starting at 7:30 p.m.
  • Dog treat stations
  • Caricature drawings and photo stations
  • Dog pools
  • Refreshments available to purchase and outdoor bar for those 21 or older
  • The first 200 attendees receive an upper-level ticket voucher to a 2019-20 Pistons home game

Important Pet Info:

  • Updated vaccination records are required for entry
  • Limit one dog per registered adult
  • All companion animals must wear an ID tag at the event and be accompanied by an adult 18 or older

Brought to you by the Detroit Pistons, PurinaPet Supplies Plus, Strategic Staffing Solutions and Michigan Humane.
