Are you a skilled photographer looking to put your skills to use taking beautiful photos of homeless pets? MHS is looking for you!

What exactly are we looking for?

A team play, who is comfortable working with/handling a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, etc. You’ll need basic internet and computer skills and of course, photography skills and high quality equipment preferably including a DSLR camera and external flash and editing skills including cropping, adjustment, and resizing. Since you’re working with animals, you’ll also need a good dose of patience, tolerance and a sense of humor!

If you’re not great with a camera but would like to help, we’re also looking for handlers who can assist the photographers with posing the animals and getting them to look their best!

We’re looking to fill the following positions:
Berman Center for Animal Care – Photographer & Handler (Friday morning)

Petco Sterling Heights Adoption Center – Photographer & Handler (any day will work)
Rochester Hills Center for Animal Care – Photographer & Handler (Friday morning)

Detroit Center for Animal Care – Photographer & Handler (Sunday or Monday mornings)
